Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine uncooked
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 cup milk 2%
- 1 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup sour cream low-fat
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley

Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
- Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Saute garlic in butter.
- Mix milk and flour together until smooth and add to garlic.
- Increase to medium-high heat.
- Cook and stir until mixture is bubbly and thickened (about 4-5 minutes).
- Reduce to low heat.
- Stir in parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Stir in sour cream and cook until heated through (about 2 minutes).
- Pour sauce over fettuccine and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle parsley over top.
