Instructions
  1. Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Using pastry cutter or knives, cut in the lard until coarse crumbs form.
  3. Wisk egg in cup measure then fill to 3/4 cup with cold water. Mix in vinegar.
  4. Add liquid mixture gradually to crumbs, one tablespoon at a time, stirring with fork until dough holds together when pressed.
  5. Press into a ball; divide in half and flatten into disks.
  6. Wrap disks in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes or freeze for several months.
