Ingredients
- 3 clove garlic roasted
- 5 tsp olive oil
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 2 lb yellow onion about 6 medium
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 pizza crust prebaked
- 2 plum tomatoes coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup oil-packed sundried tomatoes thinly sliced
- 6 oz fontina cheese or Cambozola cheese, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/2 cup fresh basil thinly sliced

Instructions
- Separate roasted garlic cloves and press pulp into small bowl.
- Cut onions in half lengthwise, then crosswise into thin slices.
- In large heavy frypan, heat butter and 1 tbsp oil over medium-low heat.
- Add onion and stir to coat with oil.
- Cook for about 30 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in vinegar and sugar; cook for about 15 minutes or until onions are very tender, stirring frequently.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- For each pizza, brush crust evenly with 1 tsp of oil then spread with half the roasted garlic.
- Top with half of each of carmelized onions, plum tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and fontina.
- Sprinkle each with half the parmesan cheese.
- 11.Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and toppings are hot.
- Sprinkle each pizza with half the basil.
