Roasted Garlic and Carmelized Onion Pizza

Instructions
  1. Separate roasted garlic cloves and press pulp into small bowl.
  2. Cut onions in half lengthwise, then crosswise into thin slices.
  3. In large heavy frypan, heat butter and 1 tbsp oil over medium-low heat.
  4. Add onion and stir to coat with oil.
  5. Cook for about 30 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in vinegar and sugar; cook for about 15 minutes or until onions are very tender, stirring frequently.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. For each pizza, brush crust evenly with 1 tsp of oil then spread with half the roasted garlic.
  9. Top with half of each of carmelized onions, plum tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and fontina.
  10. Sprinkle each with half the parmesan cheese.
  11. 11.Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and toppings are hot.
  12. Sprinkle each pizza with half the basil.
