Ingredients
- 12 plum tomatoes large
- 10 clove garlic large
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 4 cup penne

Instructions
- Slice tomatoes in half lengthwise; place, cut side up, in greased shallow roasting pan.
- Coarsely chop together garlic, basil, salt and pepper.
- Pour in oil in thin steady stream while food processor is running.
- Spread over cut sides of tomatoes.
- Bake in 350F oven for 2 hours or until withered and edges are browned.
- Remove tomato skin and squish tomatoes with back of spoon.
- Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water. Cook penne for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender but firm.
- Toss tomatoes into pasta with asiago and basil.
